The Multi Purpose hall was the second stage in the development of the music complex and due to site constraints was built as a second floor extension (the slab had been poured as part of the Stage 1 works).

The building accommodates a permanent stage with light bridges, back of house facilities, control box foyers, lift and access to adjacent music and toilet facilities.
